go disco! a call to all who fall in love with the song >sue is blue<. everything is focused on the slow, but swinging groove, including individual flashing fragments of the 20s. a dirty house music base drum pushes this track towards the dancefloor. the piece >offshore< takes you on a journey with its epic, modest and balanced mood, which turns out to be a dancefloor sensation. >teheran traffic< is speeding up the tempo. the b-side is determined by a powerful sound. just as the >far from here edit< by philipp wolgast works well in the club.

the om 15 year anniversary compilation is chok full of tasty treats. one of our favorites is this >the latest< by sygaire & defcon featuring capitol a. sygaire (sonar kollektiv, raw fusion) is the the moniker of roskow kretschmann, who has quite the resume of contributions to modern dance music culture. starting with his role as member of jazzanova crew, to his later offerings as kosma, forum, and integra (compost, infracom!), roskow is obviously a man on a mission to spread incredible music throughout the world. here he is with partner defcon (raw fusion, melting pot), the alias of one philipp wohlleben. as innocent as that name might sound, do not be fooled. defcon stands for defense condition 5, and dj defcon brings the heat like a missile in the night. together these two have come with what clearly translates as a respectful bow to the old skool days, presented in true double 12 inch extended mix fashion, and complete with vocals from none other than capitol a.

with no.2, it s philipp wolgast who is obviously >on guard<, as eminor s sister s name suggests. crystal clear sounddesign is interweaved with exceptional track-writing here. this is the one for the moments of >just sound< in which the border between individual and environment finally blurs.
